Unique Expert Advice
for Fusion Energy

Many fusion concepts are being explored both in government-funded research organisations and private fusion companies.

Although the government-funded work has brought laser-driven inertial confinement and tokamak-based magnetic confinement systems to proofs of principle, all fusion concepts are at an early stage of development compared to that required for a commercial fusion power plant, and it is too soon to say which concepts will prove to be the most attractive.

Fusion power plants are complex, integrated systems that involve many complicated infrastructure systems additional to the one that fuses the fusion fuel.
Optimising their development paths requires knowledge of the whole system from the basic fuel cycle to compatibility with the electrical grid and environmental compliance, and a clear understanding of the interactions between the many design requirements.

Fusion Energy Partners is a consultancy that covers the full research, development and operation lifecycle and is committed to assisting the earliest possible implementation of fusion power. Our in-house team of recognised experts with their decades of senior-level experience, supplemented where necessary by our network of experts, can provide advice on any fusion issue.
